Confirmed analyticsGoogle Analytics 4 is used.
Confirmed embedded serviceGoogle Maps is used.
Not currently usedMeta Pixel, YouTube and Vimeo embeds.

This policy distinguishes confirmed services from implementation-dependent cookies. Exact WordPress, security, cache, form and consent-cookie names depend on the active site configuration, while the known Google Analytics 4 cookies and their default durations are listed below.

01

Scope of This Policy

This Cookie Policy applies to banquetequipment.com.tr and explains cookies and similar technologies used in connection with the website. It should be read with the Privacy Policy and Data Protection (KVKK) Notice.

The confirmed services identified for the current website are Google Analytics, Google Maps, contact and quotation forms, and a newsletter subscription function. Meta Pixel, YouTube and Vimeo embeds are not currently used.

02

What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on a browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, tags, software-development identifiers and server-side logs. They can support website operation, remember choices, protect forms, measure use and load third-party content.

A session cookie normally expires when the browser is closed. A persistent cookie remains until its stated expiry or until it is deleted. A first-party cookie is set for the domain being visited, while a third-party service may receive data or set storage when its content is activated.

03

Cookie Categories

CategoryWhat it doesTypical status
Strictly necessarySupports security, network delivery, form operation and storage of a user's privacy choice.Used where necessary to provide a function expressly requested by the visitor.
AnalyticsMeasures visits, sessions, device/browser characteristics and website interactions.Requires consent where applicable law treats the storage or access as non-essential.
Functional / embedded contentLoads optional third-party features such as an interactive map.May require consent before loading, depending on applicable law and implementation.
MarketingSupports targeted advertising or cross-site marketing profiles.Meta Pixel is not currently used. Newsletter subscription data is handled as communication data and does not by itself mean a marketing cookie is placed.
04

Current Technology Inventory

Provider / itemCategoryPurposeDuration / control
Website platform, forms and securityStrictly necessaryDeliver pages, protect forms, manage security and remember essential settings.Names and durations depend on the active WordPress, security, cache, form and consent configuration; session or configuration-based.
_gaAnalyticsGoogle Analytics first-party cookie used to distinguish users.Google's default: 2 years, subject to browser limits and configuration.
_ga_<measurement-id>AnalyticsGoogle Analytics first-party cookie used to maintain session state.Google's default: 2 years, subject to browser limits and configuration.
Google Maps requests / storageFunctional / embedded contentDisplay the map and process related device, network and interaction information.Determined by Google, browser settings and the way the map is implemented.
Newsletter formCommunication functionRecord a subscription request and communication preference.Personal data is retained under the Privacy Policy; any provider-side cookie depends on the newsletter platform configuration.

Inventory accuracy: WordPress plugins and service configurations can change cookie names without changing the visible page design. The live consent panel and a current technical scan should be used as the operational record of cookies active on a particular visit.

05

Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 is used to understand how visitors reach and use the website. Depending on consent and configuration, information may include a client identifier, session statistics, approximate location, browser/device characteristics, pages viewed and interactions.

Google states that GA4 JavaScript tags use first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<measurement-id>, with a default expiration of two years, subject to browser-enforced limits. Consent signals can be used to communicate whether analytics storage is granted or denied.

Otelsan does not currently use Meta Pixel. Analytics information is used for aggregate reporting, website improvement, performance measurement and troubleshooting, not to provide online account functionality.

06

Google Maps

Google Maps is used to display location information. When the map is loaded, the browser may connect directly to Google and send information such as IP address, device/browser information, page context and map interactions. Google may use cookies or similar storage under its own documentation and user settings.

Where the applicable consent model requires it, the map should be loaded only after the relevant functional preference is granted or through a user-initiated activation step.

07

Consent and Preference Management

Where required by applicable law, visitors should be able to accept, reject or manage non-essential categories separately from strictly necessary technologies. A refusal of analytics or optional embedded content should not prevent access to core page text and contact details.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out lawfully before withdrawal. A previously stored cookie may remain until it expires or is deleted through browser settings. If the website displays a cookie banner or preference centre, use that control to change your choice.

Implementation note for visitors: Google Consent Mode does not itself provide a banner; it receives choices from the website's consent interface and adjusts Google tags according to those signals.

08

Browser and Device Controls

Most browsers allow you to view, block or delete cookies, limit third-party storage, and clear site data. Settings vary by browser and device. Blocking strictly necessary storage may affect forms, security or other requested functions.

Private-browsing mode, tracking-protection features and browser-imposed expiry limits may also reduce cookie duration or functionality. These settings operate independently of the website's own preference control.

09

International Processing

Google and the United States hosting environment may process technical or cookie-related data outside Türkiye. International processing and transfer safeguards are described in the Privacy Policy and KVKK Notice.

10

Changes to Cookies or This Policy

The website's plugins, providers and configurations may change over time. Otelsan will revise this policy when a material change affects the categories or purposes described here. The last-updated date and version appear at the top of the page.
